Halloween festivities postponed to November, according to an executive order (newjerseynewsroom.com)
I just got news from a friend that Halloween in New Jersey will be rescheduled to this Monday, November 5th.
Governor Chris Christie states that children in New Jersey may face dangers such as fallen trees, power outages, and flooding due to the massive strike that Hurricane Sandy gave the entire east coast. While the governor orders to put a halt on all Halloween festivities, the message is still unclear. Some are hesitating, looking to others. Along the streets, there are a couple children running about, clad in costumes. However the big question still lies ahead of us~are we going trick-or-treating or not??? The answer has yet to be known.
